We are a premier fast pace Urology practice in Orange County, CA looking for a superstar back office medical assistant to help us as our practice grows. Our office has two providers who you will help support. We pride ourselves on being a fun and collegial work environment with plenty of opportunity for growth and professional development.

As a Medical Assistant you will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Prior experience in a Urology office is a must.

Salary starting from $21.00 - $22.00 per hour and up based upon experience. We also provide regular performance based bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• The duties of this position will include: rooming patients, assisting during examination and procedures, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms and medical instruments.
• Able to assist with Biopsies, Cystoscopies, Uroflow, and other procedures.
• Collecting patient lab reports as needed, sending out labs and urine cultures.
• Multi tasking and assisting in other areas as needed.
• Verify insurance
• Order BCG and Lupron
• Answer phones
• Schedule patients
• Verify patient records

Qualifications:

• At least one year Urology experience working a Urology back office.
• Knowledge of insurance groups e.g. Medi-Cal, CalOptima, Medicare, HMO, and PPO.
• Must be able to multi-task in fast pace environment
• EMR experience a PLUS
• Medical office experience 3 years plus needed

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
